Beginners Guide to Inherits

Image
First of all, what is "Inherit"? Inherit is when you receive or be left with (a situation, object, etc.) from a predecessor or former owner. In this case, a monster will receive a skill from another monster. Only for the cost of a million coins, you can inherit a monster of your will onto another monster. Inherits are very useful as you approach mid to end game, because they give you a stat boost and skills that are required to bypass some mechanics. Requirements for Inherits To be allowed to inherit, you would need to be rank 130 and you would need to have a million coins. To inherit a monster onto another monster, you would need the assist monster to be fully awoken. Having the assist monster to be max leveled or plussed is not required, but it can come with many benefits. Your assist monster must either be a REM monster or one of the farmable monsters in the picture below Benefits of Inheriting Inherits are often known to be "Free SDR", and though t

Legendary Defender Voltron

Image
Legendary Defender Voltron Here I am going to be talking about Voltron as a lead, his strengths, and his weaknesses. I know there was a lot of hate for the collab in general, because of the lackluster art and the copy paste of some of the actives from Crows, but I am not going to be talking about any of that here. Leader Skill - A solid 4xHP and up to 600x multiplier on a 5x6 board. The easiest comparison would have to be Aizen from the Bleach collab, but with HP instead of RCV. Most people would probably argue that bonus RCV is better than the HP boost. Yes, you can fix a low HP team with an Indra inherit on your team, but a high HP team doesn't have to worry about a shield in the 1st place. A hyper maxed Voltron team, depending on the subs and pluses, will yield 120,000 - 140,000 HP, which is usually enough to tank most or all the attacks in a single dungeon. Most people may complain that his base multiplier is a bit low, with only 4x without a cross, but fr

Is being part of the "Meta" worth it?

Image
Introduction What is "Meta"? Meta is used when referred to the leaders, team compositions or subs that are most valuable in the game, mainly because of their ability to clear high-end content with relative ease. These are the ones to easily overcome new dungeons and maintain their viability even with power creep (explained later). They can still be relevant as leaders or subs for quite a long time, a clear example of this are Orochi and Indra, both if this two guys managed to stay as top tier subs. Orochi is relevant because of his delay, and even before his reincarnated evolution, he was still pretty powerful. He already had a 4 turn delay and 803 weighted stats, in the same manner, Indra is one of the strongest shields available on the game, with a 75% shield. They were part of the meta not as leaders, because they had low multipliers, but they were still key subs or inherits on teams such as Ra Dragon. Advantages of being in the Meta Being part of the meta has many

Common Beginner Mistakes

As like every game, everyone starts as a beginner. As a beginner, it isn't possible not to make any mistakes. These are some common mistakes that many players make when first starting. One of the first ever mistakes a player can make when starting is not rerolling when they get a bad starting roll. (I myself didn't know about rerolling, so I started with a Fire Dragon Swordman as my first roll). The player could uninstall and reinstall the game to start anew. Magic Stones- Many players may start off their PAD career by wasting their stones, thinking that it would stay the same difficulty to gain stones later in game. Soon they will realize how incorrect that way of thinking is. Examples of these would be: The player would use their stones to continue a dungeon- This is a bad idea early on in game. When you are starting, dungeons do not take too much stamina to do, meaning that just redoing the dungeon would be a wiser choice.  The player would use their stones for stam

Magic Stone Guide

Image
Magic stones. They are the main currency in Puzzle and Dragons. Gungho gives them out almost daily in the mail or through daily dungeons, which makes this game a fairly giving free to play game. Magic stones are used to roll on the Rare Egg Machine (REM), Increase friend/box space, and refill stamina. It is best if the player uses their stones for the REM, especially during Godfests, to quickly build their boxes and helping them progress through the game. Remember that when beginning the game, any roll in the REM is good, even if it is a silver, and you shouldn't always expect to get a gold or diamond egg. Increasing box space is very important as you progress and get more monsters. This is because you can build many different teams with the monsters stored and collect evolution materials that would be used to evolve those monsters. A general rule of thumb is to have twice as much space as your rank. Once you reach rank 67, you would have the max amount of free friend spac

Julie - The Forgotten Top Tier Lead

Introduction While everybody (me included) swooned over Uruka, Ilmina, and Merionidalis during the previous iteration of the Heroine REM, one particular card was heavily ignored yet has the potential to be very powerful. Of course, I'm talking about Julie. The female technician of the mechdragon Balboa, Julie may not seem like much at first glance, but dig a little deeper and you'll find a top tier lead capable of clearing the game's hardest content. Stat Shot Radiant Mechdragon Technician, Julie Dragon/Machine Stats at Max Lv. (HP/ATK/RCV): 3812/1814/371 AS: Void enemies' defense for 1 turn; 50% shield for 1 turn (Max CD: 11) LS: 1.5x HP and ATK for Water and Wood Att.; 5x ATK and 25% shield when Water and Wood attack at once Awoken skills: SB, SBR, TE, TE, (SBR in JP only), Attacker Killer, Dragon Killer, God Killer PADX Entry Pros : Can utilize both Water and Wood subs Diverse subpool (sorry Barbara) Readily takes advantage of TPA subs Multiplier

Reincarnated Sun Quan

Revo Sun Quan Hey All!!! This is your B oiiii here, and today I will be making an in-depth guide on Reincarnated Sun Quan.  Reincarnated Sun Quan is a strong, tpa-based lead. He is great as a sub, too. Reincarnated Sun Quan was never really considered the best lead. However, with the right subs, a strong team to clear much content can be made.  So, here it goes!! Leader Skill: 4x attack when W ater and F ire attack at once; 2.5 AT K and RCV for water when skills used. Active Skill: Delays enemies' action by 2 turns. 2x attack for water for 2 turns. (13 turn Cooldown ) Pros:  Potential 100x lead RCV boost (6.25x) Easy activation, only have to match fire and water Great overall skill with a delay and burst Has SBR 4(!) TPA s Great weighted stats Good Damage control with 16x when skills not used. Pretty hot Cons: Bindable Weak attack without T PAs Extra 2.5x ATK and RCV (6.25 with two) only obtained when skills used. No HP enhance or damage redu

Reincarnated Anubis: The One True Doge

Anubis is a hard hitting, one shot king that spares no one in his path and lays waste to the land in a scorched Earth policy. With all this being said, it's no wonder why he is a highly sought after, top tier leader that can clear 99.9% of all content solo. He has many values as both a lead and a sub with a great flexibly in pairings. So here we go, a crash course in insanity and super advanced activation needs. Pros: Some damage control High weighted stats High damage multiplier Unbindable Hazard clearing God /devil /balance typing 1.5 RCV when a skill is used Cons Hard multiplier RNG on orbs and skyfalls No hp multiplier Long cool down on active With Anubis getting a reincarnation he loses the dark type restriction to his sub pool and his multiplier starter comes down from 9 combo to 8 combo.  This helps greatly because perfectly distributed boards in 6x5 have a MAX of 10 combos. As an emerging player, or even if you're a mid tier combo-er, being able

A Quick Guide to Colosseum

So, Colosseum is the hardest dungeon out there in NA (looking at you, 3P). This is basically "The Idiot's Guide to Clearing Colosseum". Pretty short, but it's simple if you look at it.  First off, lead. What lead do I use? You want both damage and survivability. Some examples are: - RaDra (2.25/144/2.25, extra damage with tpa's) - Aizen (144x with one dark cross, 4x rcv, and subs/leads have high hp) - Meri (kills almost all floors with one row, 6.25x rcv, leads/subs have high hp) - Kenshin/Ilmina (two crosses kills most floors, damage reduction when matching fire and light).  You got your examples. Dath isn't that decent since you need to do 49x damage to heal, and that makes stalling difficult.  Next, skills. Whether it be a sub or inherit, you'll need: - Gravity. Depending on the team, you'll use it on Orpharion (definently, he has a 50% resolve and does a kill shot when below 50%), MZeus/MHera (probably, depends if you can go below 81% resolve and n
